C.H.I.E.F. Cheer!

The mission of our C.H.I.E.F. Cheer Program is to teach our student athletes the benefits of competition and understand we must have a higher purpose in competing: glorifying Christ by using our gifts, having self discipline, developing Godly character and displaying good sportsmanship and teamwork.

Cheerleading is a team sport!  Each and every cheerleader is important to their team.  Being a part of a team is a privilege for each student. An important purpose of C.H.I.E.F. cheerleaders is to promote and uphold school spirit, unity and pride, to represent C.H.I.E.F. to the highest degree.

C.H.I.E.F. Cheer Squad is looking for girls ages 10 - 18 to join us!  Our Squad cheers at both home and away games for the Manhattan Eagle Football Team and home games for the C.H.I.E.F. Thunder basketball teams.  You have the option of cheering for just football, just basketball , or both.  Ideally, we will have enough girls for both Jr. High and High School Squads.

Practices are held at least once a week, mainly at Fairmont Park or the Manhattan Public Library. There will be a 2 - day clinic held before regular practices begin mid- to late July.

We try to be considerate of family budgets and keep uniform cost as low as possible since Cheerleaders are responsible for purchasing their own uniform/accessories (we do a group order). Until we have a definite number of girls to work with, an estimated uniform package is $150.

There is also a $75/family participation fee, which all or some is refundable by participating in any and all fundraisers.
